Lachstock Core Privacy Policy

Lachstock Core is a mobile app provided by Lachstock Consulting Pty Ltd for authorised Lachstock Portal users.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled by Lachstock Core, why it is used, and how users can contact us about privacy.

Information We Handle

Lachstock Core may handle the following information:

• Portal account details, such as the signed-in user's email address and Portal user identifier.
• Device notification details, such as push notification token, device platform, device name, app version, and notification registration status.
• App preferences, such as the user's selected nearest pricing site.
• Portal content the user is authorised to view, including prices, portfolio information, inventory, weather information, and Portal notifications.
• Technical request information, such as server logs, used for security, troubleshooting, and maintaining the service.

Lachstock Core does not request, collect, store, or share the phone's GPS location. Maps in the app display pricing site locations supplied by the Lachstock Portal.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Authenticate users and connect the app to their Lachstock Portal account.
• Show authorised pricing, portfolio, inventory, weather, and notification content.
• Send and manage push notifications.
• Remember user preferences, such as nearest pricing site.
• Protect, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the app and Portal service.

Push Notifications

If a user enables notifications, Lachstock Core registers the device so the Portal can send notifications to that user.

Users can manage notification permissions in Lachstock Core settings and in the operating system settings on their device.

Face ID, Biometrics, And App PIN

Face ID, biometric unlock, and app PIN features are used to unlock saved Portal access on the device.

Biometric data is handled by the operating system and is not sent to Lachstock Consulting.

Third-Party Services

Lachstock Core may use platform and service providers needed to operate the app, including Apple push notification services, Expo notification services, and map services.

These services are used for app functionality, not advertising or cross-app tracking.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information.

We do not share app information with third-party advertising networks or data brokers.

Information may be handled by service providers where needed to operate the app and Portal, or disclosed where required by law.

Data Retention

We retain operational app information for as long as needed to provide the app and Portal service, maintain security, support users, and comply with legal obligations.

Device notification registrations may be updated, disabled, or removed when a user signs out, refreshes registration, disables notifications, or stops using the app.

User Choices

Users can:

• Sign out of the app.
• Disable push notifications in app settings or device settings.
• Change their selected nearest pricing site in app settings.
• Contact Lachstock Consulting for help with Portal account access or privacy questions.

Children

Lachstock Core is intended for authorised Lachstock Portal users and is not directed to children.
